TRUE YOU is an embodied voice and movement workshop.

It is an opportunity to experience your Self in a new way that will inspire deeper Self-connection.
Laura combines her background in performing arts, life coaching and transformational healing into this powerful process for personal development.

All that is required is an openness to learn and a willingness to expand your concept of your Self… if that sounds exciting then this is the workshop for you!
No previous experience in voice, movement or dance practices are needed.

Somatic Movement & Tension Release Series

Somatic Movement & Tension Release –

In this workshop, you will experience body-mind centering practices, tension release exercises and movement fundamentals that will relieve anxiety, stress and trauma, enhance body-mind connection and improve postural alignment and coordination.

Open to all levels of yoga experience. Some workshops involve partner tasks and floor-based work (away from the yoga-mat!).. but do not fear! It will be euphoric! You will leave uplifted, energised and dancing down the streets!

SPINE & SHOULDERS – Feb 26


Travel light by reducing body tension through yoga and somatic release exercises for the jaw, neck, shoulders and spine.

An invigorating detox of twists and inversions will get the lymphatic system flowing and iron out creases of tension and tightness.

You will experience practical postural alignment techniques that can be easily applied to daily life.

Discover the agility and fluidity of the spine, neck and shoulders and the lightness it brings to body and mind!

 

* HIPS & SPLITS – April 22 & June 17 *

Experience a deep release of psoas tension with hip-opening exercises and somatic movement practices to relieve lower back pressure, lengthen and strengthen glutes and legs! You do not need to be able to do the splits to benefit from this workshop. The purpose is to deepen your range of flexibility and relieve lower back, pelvis and hip tension.

This workshop will integrate Yin Yoga with supported asana to enhance the depth of your stretch. We will incorporate split variations into asana balances, inversions and twists working towards the ultimate split through forward bends.

Meditation Programme for developing Personal Practice

We will explore a variety of meditation approaches and Pranayama(breath work) practices to create ease and space within the body and mind, moving meditations to heighten present moment awareness and experience the benefits of different meditation techniques to develop the resolve and habit of a regular meditation practice.
Each week will follow different themes and practises.
Open to all levels of experience.

This workshop is ideal for those wishing to develop or sustain a personal meditation practice.
